Reader Trips - I made $11.82 at Publix

I did 2 transactions because I am going ot submit for 2 Kimberly Clark rebates :-) (Thanks Mom for letting me use your address!)


First, the rebate details:
Spend $35 in select products, get $10 back.
I did this 2 times - 
3 Pull ups - $10.69
3 colgate kid toothbrushes - $2.69
Total - $40.14
USE:

3 - $2 Pullups Publix in-ad coupons (-$6)

3 - $2 Pullups maufacturer coupons 1/15 SS (-$6)

3 - FREE Colgate kids toothbrushes wyb Pullups - KC rebate pamphlet - for some reason this automatically takes off $3.29 and Publix does not readjust it since they are honest AND reimbursed full value. (-$9.87)
TOTAL - $18.27
Get $10 back.
Final Total - $8.27 for 3 packs of pull ups and 3 kid toothbrushes!


Now onto both transactions combined:

Total - $1.01 OVERAGE (minus tax)


2 - Gas cards - $50 (wyb $25+ in groceries)
-$10/$50 Gas Card in ad coupon
Total - $40 each for $50 in gas that I will use anyhow!

Special price savings - 4.68
TOTAL Spent - 108.18
TOTAL Saved - 199.41
After rebate and gas total PROFIT - ($108.18 - $100 in gas - $20 in rebates) $11.82!!!

I was able to get more than the 10 item limit on some things because I did 2 different transactions.

Reader Trips - My nearly couponless Publix run

I really didnt have many coupons, but the ones I had made a difference. When I go I generally have 1-2 coupons PER item! Today I had a few items with coupons... it was weird.

Mom's Homemade Hot Chocolate:
Publix Powdered sugar - 1.09
Publix instant milk - 10 qts (use 8qts) - 10.69
Publix powder coffee creamer - 32 oz - 3.59
Nesquik - 3.99 (gave mom all of my $1/1 coupons)
*mix all together in 2 gallon sized ziplocs or another ginormous container. Use several spoonfuls and heat up water! omghhhhha to die for! And then I also add milk chocolate chips. Yeahhhh I'm planning on a 14 lb baby at birth.


Maxwell house decaf - 3.99

****Huge thanks to Cassie, the MOD and Marsha for being so patient with me. They had to call Marsha (the big boss) at home to confirm that she has allowed me to use these coupons.
